This course teaches the advanced operations of z/OS.

Audience

This course is designed for operations staff responsible for managing, monitoring and controlling the configuration of z/OS systems.

Prerequisites

Delegates attending this course should be familiar with IBM's z/OS systems. This knowledge can be obtained by attending our two day z/OS for Beginners course.

Objectives

On completion of this course delegates will be familiar with the technical set-up of z/OS systems. They will be able to understand the basic tailoring to the system at IPL time and be able to establish, from PARMLIB, HCD or via operator commands, the configuration of the system.
