Compuware File AID Essentials

This workshop will teach Programmers to use ISPF-like commands in File-Aid to modify different file structures.

Programmers needing to use the Compuware FileAid tool.

Delegates should have previous experience of VSAM and TSO/ISPF, which can be acquired by attending the following courses:

• VSAM Fundamentals
• z/OS TSO/ISPF Workshop

Upon successful completion, delegates will be able to use File-Aid to:

• Edit and Browse VSAM files.
• Manipulate longer records which cannot be edited in ISPF.
• Improve productivity during file maintenance using other available utilities.
