This course teaches delegates to create Basic Mapping Support (BMS) screen definitions.
Audience
The intended audience for this class includes CICS application programmers and support staff who will use SDF II to create Basic Mapping Support (BMS) screen definitions.
Prerequisites
Delegates should have a reasonable understanding of CICS BMS.
Objectives
After completing this course, delegates will be able to:
- Define BMS screens/panels and the related data structures in the CICS application program.
- Understand the 3270 terminal field attributes/characteristics, so that they can define the optimum BMS screen.
